DJ Paradise Resort

As far as I remember DJ Paradise Resort in Malolos Bulacan was the first resort that we often visit with my family during my younger years. The main difference now is the wave but unfortunately all the facilities are quite disgusting because it was not well maintained. Because of the dirty toilet/bath rooms, I decided to be the official photographer and guardian of our belongings. But at least my kids enjoyed it and had a great bonding with their daddy.

Summer Destinations

Summer season is just around the corner and I bet if ever our company is planning to have a company outing the committee will be a having a hard time getting a reservation because many of the nearby resort are already fully booked on weekends. I heard we will be having a rainy summer season, my two siblings and their families will be visiting Manila I just hope they will experience a good weather here especially on the week of our Boracay trip. Last year my kids enrolled in a swimming lesson, this time I encouraged them to take a guitar, piano or voice lessons. Makoy likes to sing so I’m still prodding him to take a voice lesson and plan to join him too but I think he’s more interested in taking a piano lessons. Nikko owned a guitar, a gift from my sister in law, I hope his interest in guitar will develop again and I’m planning to buy him Cleartone guitar strings to push his interest again.

Out of curiosity we ate at Bon Chon Chicken in Trinoma last week.Unfortunately the kids did not like it's taste, I ordered four sets of Soy Garlic Chops Ricebox, and additional order of four pieces. Wrong move because I should order the spicy chops instead to have a variety. Well at least now we are aware what Bon Chon tastes like, Lol!

Malling @ North Edsa

Last Wednesday we were supposed to spend our overnight in one of the resorts in Bulacan, but hubby decided to cancel it because of his back pain. So we just spend the day until night strolling at SM North Edsa and Trinoma, I decided to eat at Bonchon out of curiosity when we watched it on Kabuhayang Swak na Swak on TV. Unfortunately we did not enjoy the food and off we go with the leftovers. Hubby purchased four shirts while me and the kids just looked around and searched for some items with discounts. Only a few items are on sale like the PUMA socks, some sports equipment, baby jogging strollers and branded rubber shoes. We decided to buy a luggage bag for hubby next time because we need to rest early because of our day swimming in Paradise Resort.

Citihomes

Last Monday I scheduled a tripping with Cecile Cruz of Citihomes, we got the chance to see the available properties that are available. We're very much impressed with their different designs and we were able to visit at least five houses that are under construction with different sizes of lot area. Jojo and I instantly loved the area because of the nearby commercial establishments and the walking distance schools near the vicinity, hubby loved the place too except the price. LOL. Our main concern was the budget, I just hope if ever hubby considers it, we can still bargain the price. Another consideration is involving myself in online work seriously and hopefully I will also learn how to design my own template and enhance the report engine that I will pursue soon.

Reunion in 2012

This coming April we will have a mini reunion with my siblings on their short vacation here in the Philippines. We will spend our four days in Boracay and hopefully hubby can come home too because he was included in the Boracay package I got from my travel agency. Because of some unexpected incident in their office he’s really not sure of joining us but he will still asked permission for a short vacation and I want him to be with us on this important event in our family. My sister and brother in law are also scheduled to have their renewal of vows in our parish church and she’s planning to have a small celebration in a nearby resort. We might hire a van to pick their luggage and leather briefcase at the airport and maybe we can meet them at Ascott hotel where they will stay before our Boracay trip.

Shrimp Sinigang

As much as possible I want to skip meat during weekends, I wasn't able to buy seafoods yesterday so I made a quick stop at the wet market and bought one kilo of shrimp for our lunch and dinner today. Well, look at this shrimp family, I guess their "mom" was saying their last "goodbye", LOL! Thank you Lord for this another peaceful and restful weekend!

Restful Sunday

I never imagined that today will be a restful Sunday, after attending the mass at 8am I cooked shrimp sinigang for lunch. I took a quick nap, lunch then off we go to get PJ a good car wash. It's been weeks since I was craving for an Arce Dairy ice cream. I convinced Makoy that we should make a quick stop at Puregold Malinta to buy an ice cream, in one good condition he will eat something first because he did not take his lunch. Nikko and Makoy got their own baskets and carts each so we divide all the groceries we picked on their baskets. We were surprised because Puregold has only a few customers, many counters are available that's why we finished immediately. While paying our groceries I saw the guy in front of me holding a torx key set and I was really fascinated with its color.

Internet Deals

I think I have to allot time to clean my email accounts, I have one each on Gmail and Yahoo accounts. My Gmail account was dedicated for my blog opportunities only and my yahoo account was full of garbage emails. Sometimes when my schedule permits, I browse the different deals that I received and hoping that I can find an extra ordinary deal that I can't resist. My sister insists to avail of the travel deals but I was afraid to do so because we have a specific target date on April. Unfortunately I failed to avail the promo of Ace Water Spa, I hope they will offer it again, I know Friends and Family will enjoy the unique relaxation when availing this promo.

Makati Hotels

My sister and BIL decided to stay in the hotel during their short stay here in April. After completing our Boracay trip, now I was tasked to find them a comfortable and yet affordable hotel in Makati preferably very near the mall so anytime they can pick their choice of food and they are more suited in a secured place. Actually my BIL was so worried about the travel advisory against the Philippines but this trip has long been planned and booked. I hope I can find an agency that can give me good rates on Ascott, Manila Peninsula, Hotel Intercontinental or Dusit Thani so they can already picked their choice and booked them in advance.

Good Investment

Two weeks ago I made an investment transaction with my favorite bank, BPI Salcedo Tordesillas Branch. I have other accounts with other banks but BPI has the fastest service and courteous bank employee to assist me, accommodate my inquiries and offer me their valued products that made me decide to invest with them. I pay all my bills with BPI Express Online, hassle free and that saves a trip on going to the bank. I still have the option not to print the bills payment confirmation because a copy will automatically send to my email account. A friend offered me to buy silver coins for a good investment too, why not if my expected fund will come in next quarter.
